Nestled among the pine trees on the bank of the Riviere Simon in the Laurentians, Bagni Spa Station looks like something right out of a fairytale. Its chalet-style buildings surround the rushing river, and it features several teal saltwater pools and hot tubs on its sun-soaked wooden deck.

The spa follows in the tradition of other Nordic-style baths, encouraging guests to participate in thermotherapy—the practice of alternating between hot and cold sensations. With two Finnish saunas located right on the river, guests can easily take a dip in the river’s cool waters right after heating their bodies. Bagni also offers traditional spa services such as massage therapy and facials.
