DécouvAirte Aviation offers customers located in the Montréal and Gatineau region the possibility to become a pilot for a day. The class starts with a 30- to 45-Minute ground lesson about flight theory, commands, and navigation instruments. Students are ready to put their newly acquired knowledge to the test during an assisted-control flying lesson with an experienced instructor, lasting 50 minutes. Before flying through the clouds, customers also have a chance to experience engine startup, haulage, ground procedures, and takeoff. During the flight, they can make turns and go up and down before landing at the airport. One or two passengers can accompany wannabe pilots. Furthermore, the novices depart with a video souvenir capturing their exploits. This introductory flight helps students working toward their licence since it’s included in required hours. Customers also receive a $50 voucher valid for all the services provided by Vol de Nuit.
