The pilots of Air Saint-Laurent guide their passengers over Montréal and the Saint Lawrence river at a low altitude. Up to six people board a de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver hydroplane equipped with portholes from which they can admire the architectural landscape. Planes take off from the Mille Îles river and fly over monuments such as the Olympic Stadium or the skyscrapers of Montréal’s central business district at sunrise or sunset. Eyes gaze out windows as the hydroplane floats away from the dock, sails along the river, and lifts off. Finally, after making a final turn and yielding to helicopter-shaped goose formations, the plane touches down smoothly in a water landing.
