At Studio C, photographer Émilie Pelletier captures the intimacy between family members, the soft curves and glowing anticipation of moms-to-be, and the loving gazes of couples during 60-minute photo sessions. Located in a loft inside the former Viau cookie factory, the studio space can accommodate up to four models as they strike poses and offer smiles to the camera. In the warm atmosphere of the studio, they discuss and get to know the artist, to feel comfortable in the spotlight. After Émilie edits the images for brightness and contrast, clients receive a CD of the two shots they selected after their session. The portraits, along with the two 8″x10″ prints, are available in colour and in black and white.
