At Bar Zoe, customers sip cocktails while they dip the menu’s meat and seafood selections into a rich broth and bread into melted cheeses. Waiters bring metal fondue pots to the table, where burners sporting hand-knitted scarves warm a choice of cheese concoctions, including gruyere, swiss cheese with white wine, or cheese with mushrooms. Pierce skewers into morsels of chicken and beef ($21.95), bite into scallops ($25.95), or indulge in a pound of shrimp ($24.95). Diners can opt for a five-course chicken and lobster tail fondue dinner ($48.95), which pairs one-third of a pound of meat with cheese, coffee, and a choice of desserts such as milk-chocolate fondue or cheesecake. Meanwhile, patrons sip an assortment of colourful cocktails garnished with fruit slices that dangerously hang from glasses without the use of a net.

Diners can devour fondue inside or sit on the restaurant’s shaded patio. After 8 p.m., the staff dims the lights and waves a magic microphone to transform Bar Zoe into a karaoke bar. Moving lights fill the room as performers take the stage and sing their favourite tunes until 3 a.m.
