The tasting menu for two (up to a $73 total value) includes:

  • Two soups or salads (up to an $8 value)
  • One house specialty (up to a $12 value)
  • Four maki rolls (up to a $36 value)
  • One hosomaki (up to a $6 value)
  • Two portions of nigiri or sashimi (up to an $11 value)

The kitchen staff at Sata Sushi transports guests’ taste buds to the Land of the Rising Sun and wields sharp knives to cut fish into colourful portions of crispy and melty maki rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. Soups and salads open the smorgasbord before customers share a house-specialty dish such as sesame tuna with wakame or broiled salmon nigiri. Slices of maki rolls parade onto plates and provide a mélange of flavours including the Snow’s shrimp, coconut, avocado and teriyaki sauce or the Sata’s spicy scallop, sweet potato, tempura, caviar and avocado. Customers manoeuvre chopsticks to snatch six pieces of tofu tempura hosomaki, and orders of nigiri and sashimi adorn themselves with grilled eel, scallops, and fish roe. Wood-panelled walls surround a dining room illuminated by hanging lamps and festooned with a carousel horse.
